Well, its not going to be an exciting year for me either. We won't do much visiting this year for some reason...(wonders why too). Thing is, I've always regarded Chinese New Year as the event that officially kicks off a whole new year. CNY always had this celebratory mood present especially in SG where majority of the people are Chinese, it seems as if the whole country is celebrating it. Stalls selling decorations, goodies and clothes just spring up everywhere, everyone of them in bright red and shimmery gold, florists with all their colourful flowers and well every shop playing CNY songs setting the whole album on loop. There is no escaping the mood.

Its the time when I say, okay I'm heading for a whole new year with new things to look forward too.

Since I decide that this officially marks the beginning of the year, then I should 'start anew' and dress anew. I don't feel complete without nice pretty clothes on the first 2 days.

I've already toned down on that need. Shoes isn't a must. I just need to be able to match them with my clothes. Only problem is...I only have one good pair of shoe in the shoe cabinet. So I am in dire need for another pair. Dire need.

And it's only 2 week till CNY.

Still seems a little crazy to rush into buying clothes. Mommy and I are expecting a bloody good sale right after CNY. And that will be the time to shop and grab the best deals. Silly to spend our money in a rush just for this one event. It's not like its a matter of life and death (maybe to me it is...) But its just frustrating...

Think it SHOULD NOT be a problem if I put in the effort to shop a bit more. Like really comb through every mall from somerset to orchard and beyond SG's best shopping district.

Sigh...Okay I haven't been to Far East in a very long time. Maybe I should go and take a peek...or maybe I should just skip it. Dunno. It's pretty far away. I feel lazy just thinking about it (walking to Far East Plaza).

Hmmm...

Honestly. I just need to find the perfect skirt, and everything will be a breeze...
